How to post Images on Fishing Styles Forums

There are two way to post images on this forum:
A - from other websites like PhotoBucket.com or
B - upload picture directly from your computer.

Here are the details on how to post them:

A - From other website like PhotoBucket.com


Please note!
This method is recommended for users that HAVE ALREADY an PhotoBucket.com account with photos already uploaded


1 - Go on http://www.Photobucket.com
2 - Log in with your own username and password;
3 - browse to your image that you wanna post on Fishing Styles;
4 - bring the mouse pointer above the picture you wanna post;
5 - by doing that a small menu will open, then click "Direct Link";
6 - after clicking you'll see a quick message saying "Copied" which means that the full URL link to your picture is saved in your computer memory ready to be Pasted later on;
7 - come back on this website;
8 - open a new post in the forum were you wanna share your picture;
9 - click "Img" button and you'll see that in the text body will appear [ img ][ /img] as shown bellow (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

10 - and Paste your previously copied URL between [ img ]URL LINK HERE[ /img] and your code should look like this:

11- to check if you done everything correctly you can push the Preview button and watch your picture being displayed like this (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

...if your picture gets displayed then you done it! - otherwise repeat all steeps eliminating any error.

B - Upload picture directly from your computer

Please note!
This method is recommended for users that DON'T HAVE an PhotoBucket.com account with photos already uploaded and the picture is stored in the computer or USB connected digital camera


1 - open a new post in the forum were you wanna share your picture;
2 - click "Upload attachment" as shown in this image (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

3 - in the "Upload attachment" TAB click "Browse..." button as seen in this image (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

4 - in the browsing window browse where your picture is located at, this can be in a Folder located in one of your Local Disk or if you have your digital camera already connected through your USB cable - you can browse there as well;

5 - after browsing for your picture double click on that image what you wanna post, then the browsing windows will close and you'll see the local path of your image displayed as shown here (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

6 - next steep is to click the "Add the file" button as shown in this image (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

7- the upload time-frame depends on how big your picture is and how fast your internet connection is - usually this takes few seconds to few minutes - Fishing Styles Forums accepts up to 20MB image size;

8 - after uploading successfully your picture you'll see in the "POSTED ATTACHMENTS" section your uploaded file as shown here (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

9 - bring your mouse pointer above the already uploaded picture and by RIGHT CLICKING on it a small menu will open (this menu may look different depending on what browser version you have - i use Mozilla Firefox) (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

10 - in this menu click "Copy Link Location" for Mozilla Firefox or "Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer 8 as shown bellow (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

and the URL link path is saved in your computer memory to Paste it later on;

11 - click "Img" button and you'll see that in the text body will appear [ img ][ /img] as shown here (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):

12 - and Paste your previously copied URL between [ img ]URL LINK HERE[ /img] and your code should look like this:

13- to check if you done everything correctly you can push the Preview button and watch your picture being displayed like this (click on picture and use the +"plus sign" left-corner-up to ZOOM IN):
